With over 20 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Giuliano Mariani is an Expert in Finance & Structured Finance, M&A and Corporate Governance, Strategic Planning, Corporate Management Consultancy.

Graduated in Economics at the University of Florence (110/110), Giuliano began his banking career at Banca Nazionale del Lavoro (BNL) in Rome. Early career moves include various posts in different locations within BNL’s Italian network (Udine, Bergamo, Mantova, Perugia) where Giuliano acted as Corporate Banker for local clients of the bank.

From 2000 to 2008 he worked for ABN Amro Bank as Senior Relationship Banker. Corporate Director since 2002, he has managed the global relationship with some of the most important Italian clients of the bank.

During his career he originated numerous strategic transactions, in Italy and abroad, with particular reference to the industrial and automotive sectors.

He assisted listed and unlisted Italian companies, as Ifil (now Exor), Fiat, Immsi, Sogefi, Piaggio, Engineering, Carraro, Magnetto Group, KME Group in structuring transactions in the following fields. Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, M & A, Structured Finance (Securitization, Commodity Finance, ECA based), Cash Management.

In late 2008 he founded Mariani & Associati Corporate Finance with his current business partners, corporate finance professionals that in the still actual context of financial crisis decided to get their experiences together and act as Independent Advisor.

Since its inception the Mariani and Associates Corporate Finance has been appointed to act as Financial Advisor to Italian companies of different size and sector of activity, with mandates in the field of Financial Advisory, Debt Advisory, M & A Advisory, Planning & Control.

Mariani & Associati Corporate Finance also acts as Financial Advisor to certain Associations of Companies, like ACIMIT ACIMALL, Confindustria La Spezia.

Barbara Boni has been working for twenty years in Corporate Finance; she has an extensive experience in Business Administration, Controlling, Financial Management, M&A and Strategic Planning.

Graduated with highest honor at Bocconi University, Milan, she began his career in 1994 in the Controlling food at Kraft as responsible for the economic and financial analysis and control of product management “Kraft” Refrigerated Division.

Since 1996, for 10 years Barbara was Controller and then CFO (since 2001) of the Società Chimica Larderello SpA, former Eni group, currently owned by American shareholders.

In 2000 she obtained an Executive Master’s degree in Finance and Control at SDA Bocconi.

In the management of the corporate finance function, Barbara has had direct experience of ordinary treasury, management of different recapitalization process of the company, as well as issuance / management of intercompany loans. She has also coordinated two extraordinary transactions of sale of the company and in 2003 implemented an hard organizational restructuring of the business.

In 2002 she was awarded by the Ministry of Welfare (R. Maroni) as Young Industry Executive Woman by Assolombarda.

In 2008 she founded together with Giuliano Mariani, Mariani and Associates Corporate Finance, in which they decide to offer to the companies their own professional experience.
